Our Itinerary (subject to minor changes) is:

Day 1. August 1, 2024
Night flight either out of Philly or Newark to Dublin, Ireland (arriving in the morning - I.e. Day 2)

Day 2 - August 2, 2024
Hotel Hendricks Smithfield
    Land in Dublin. Collect luggage and clear customs. Meet the bus driver and go to breakfast. We will proceed into Dublin to our hotel to check-in. After check-in you will have access to the hop-on hop-off bus which will take you all around Dublin.   We will have citi pass which gives you access to many of the venues in Dublin, some venues will need advance reservations such as Guinness and Jameson which we will make for the group. You will also have a complete list of those places the CityPASS grants access to so you can enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure.
Dinner and free time at night.

Day 3 - August 3, 2024
Hotel Leonardo Galway
Today we depart from Dublin. On the way to Galway will have a stop at Tullamore D.E W. for a tour and to enjoy what may be the best Irish Coffee you have ever had. Next, we will have lunch in Tullamore village.
     After lunch we will head over to the Cliffs of Moher, along the way keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of The Burren(Irish: meaning Great Rock) this glacio Karst landscape spans 97 square miles.
     Next, we will have access to the top of the cliffs to take in the astounding views of the Atlantic Ocean as we stand over 700 feet above the crashing waves. On a clear day you can view the Aran Islands in Galway Bay, the Maumturks and Twelve Pins mountain ranges to the north in County Galway, and Loop Head to the south.
   Built into the cliffs to the left is a visitor center with a gift shop, museum and a place to buy some food.
    From here on to Galway the Irish heart of culture, artistry, exceptional food and music. Galway is also home to many different forms of nightlife you're sure to enjoy.

Day 4 - August 4, 2024

    Option 1. - Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher Day Cruise sailing from Galway City Docks
Skip the roads, and take a ferry cruise from Galway to see the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands, instead. As you travel by ferry, you’ll get unobstructed views of the coastline that’s known as the Wild Atlantic Way before you dock at Inishmore. Make the most of ample free time to explore. Things to do and places to visit on Inis Mor the largest of the three islands are Dun Aonghasa and Iron Age Fort perched atop a 100-meter-high cliff face.
The seven churches, St Benans Church Inishmore Seal colony,   Then head back to Galway, passing the UNESCO-listed Cliffs of Moher along the way.

Option 2:
    John Ford’s 1952 movie “The Quiet Man” starring John Wayne, was filmed in the Irish village of Cong, and this tour reveals all the secrets from the popular film. Accompanied by your guide, take a walk around the small town of Cong and see the real-life locations used in the movie. Finally, visit The Quiet Man museum, where you can explore a replica of the cottage used in the movie and even dress up in movie-inspired costumes. Day 5 - August 5, 2024
Clayton Hotel Cork
   After breakfast, we will be leaving Galway to head to Cork. On our way, we will make a short stop at Bunratty Castle. From here, we will stop at Blarney Castle on the way to Cork. Tonight enjoy some free time in Cork.

Day 6 - August 6, 2024
Old Waverly Hotel Edinburgh
   Meet the motor coach and go directly to Edinburgh to check into our hotel. After we will take a tour of Edinburgh Castle and enjoy a tour of the Scotch Whisky Experience.
The remainder of the day is free time to enjoy the Royal Mile, great shopping, and the multitude of pubs. For those that want to visit the Tattoo Festival, you can use this time to visit it.
*Note, those interested in the Tattoo Festival will need to purchase tickets in advance on their own.

Day 7 - August 7, 2024
Old Waverly Hotel Edinburgh
     After a filling breakfast at the hotel, we move on to visit The Kelpies equestrian statue, Stirling Castle, and Doune Castle. With a stop along the way for lunch. Stirling Castle was key to the Kingdom of Scotland as it stands dominating a vast volcanic rock at the meeting point between the highlands and lowlands of Scotland. From here we visit Doune Castle. Built in the twelve hundreds and rebuilt into its present form in the 1300s Doune reflected the then-current ideas of what a royal castle should be. Tonight we will be back in Edinburgh for leisure time.

Day 8 - August 8, 2024
Best western Dumfries
On our way to Dumfries, we will stop in Glasgow for lunch for about two hours.
Spend your free time here exploring the many pubs and shops of Glasgow.
From here on our way to Dumfries, we will stop in Auldgirth to visit Ellisland Farm on the Nith River. Lastly, it is on to our hotel to check in and have leisure time in Dumfries.

Day 9 - August 9, 2024
Best Western Dumfries
On this day will visit the Burns Center and St Michael's Church where he is entombed. The rest of the day will be set aside for some leisure time exploring Dumfries. Since there is such ample time will also provide a list of excursions and tours that may be of interest. These additional activities will be able to be booked at an additional expense.

Day 10 - August 10, 2024
After breakfast, we will take a ride to the Annandale Distillery for a tour and tasting.
Then it's back into Dumfries for our last night In Scotland. Perhaps enjoy a special meal at a recommended restaurant

.Day 11 - August 11, 2024
     Take a transfer to the airport and leave Edinburgh to fly home.
